I have been collecting furs for some years now and this absolutely amazing fur is one of the most high quality mink furs I have seen. It is huge....you certainly get a lot of mink for your money.  The colour is known as Tourmaline and is a pale grey colour which has beige/cream tones, in certain light. Vintage Mink Cape Stole - Ransohoff's Department Store - Vertigo - James Stewart and Kim Novak

I accidentally pressed the end now button for this eBay auction!!  It will be re-listed on 28th July.  A very pretty cape, in excellent vintage condition.  It is from Ransohoffs Department Store, San Francisco, USA.  Ransohoffs was a high end store and was a location for a famous scene in the 1958 film Vertigo with James Stewart and Kim Novak.
